The World's 50 Best Hotels 2026 – Five Hong Kong Hotels Ranked Among the World's Top 100

On 15 September 2026, The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2026 was unveiled at a live ceremony in Paris. Hong Kong once again took centre stage on the global hospitality map, with five Hong Kong hotels ranked among the world’s top 100 hotels.

 

The Federation extends its warmest congratulations to all the Hong Kong hotels recognised on this year’s list:

  • Rosewood Hong Kong – No. 1 (The World’s Best Hotel 2026 for a second consecutive year; also The Best Hotel in Asia)
  • The Upper House – No. 8
  • The Peninsula Hong Kong – No. 46 
  • Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong – No. 59
  • Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong – No. 86

 

Rosewood Hotel Group, the international luxury hotel group headquartered in Hong Kong, also achieved outstanding results: seven of its properties were named on the main list and the extended list, and the Group was presented with the Ferrari Trento Most Admired Hotel Group Award. In addition to Rosewood Hong Kong retaining the global No.1 position, Rosewood São Paulo rose from No.24 to No.6, Hôtel de Crillon in Paris ranked No.14, and Las Ventanas al Paraíso in Los Cabos ranked No.25, with Rosewood London (No.56), Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany (No.62) and Rosewood Bangkok (No.70) also entering the extended list.

Established in 2023, The World’s 50 Best Hotels is one of the industry’s most respected global benchmarks, voted by more than 800 anonymous industry experts from 13 regions around the world, recognising pioneers with outstanding performance in service excellence, innovative concepts, design aesthetics and guest experience. This year’s ceremony was held in Paris for the first time since the list’s inception.
